Without a Net A Vuluti makes a perilous passage over the the Razorfields of Lander Island. Named for the celebratory balloons used by the F'Brixi, the Vuluti appear to have evolved from some form of colony creature, and usually migrate alone. The Razorfields were once swampland supersaturated with silicates and heavy ores. When the swamp evaporated these crystaline strctures were formed. The spires reflect sunlight at a slightly amplified rate, causing the air to burn with unnatural brightness. The heat is constant and intense. It should be noted that the moan of the wind through this dangerous landscape is haunting. The mass with the Vuluti's air sac resembles a brain, but guild telepaths have detected no advanced activity. These creatures spend most of their life airborne. |
